Top 10 Anime Bro-Sis Combo

The bond between a brother and a sister is so special India decided to have an ancient and special festival called Rakshabandhan to celebrate it. And that's how we end up with a bro-sis list. Btw Cousins and adoptive siblings count and there will be spoilers.

#1 Lelouch & Nunnally from Code Geass

Whether you consider him a hero or the scum of the Animeverse, you can't deny the level of love Lelouch had for Nunnally. He lived for her, became Zero for her, conquered the world for her and finally died for her(well seemed to). Everything he did was for her, if it weren't for his little sister Lelouch instead of trying to build a better world for Nunnally would probably focus on revenge and destruction of Britannia instead.

#2 Sora & Shiro from No Game No Life

These two introvert gamers define the term inseparable to the point that just a few feet of distance or a closed door can cause each one a nervous breakdown. Shiro is cute little girl but a rational and logical genius who rarely shows emotions while Sora despite being an introvert is expressive and understands human psychology and sociology very well. Separately they are introvert gamers of a whole new level of genius. Together they are “Blank” the unbeatable gaming team in any and every game in existence. Plus they are quite adorable once you get over all the fanservice and other cringy stuff...

#3 Yuuki & Mirai from Tokyo Magnitude 8.0

Mirai is a typical angsty teen till she and her brother Yuuki find themselves in middle of an earthquake that decimates Tokyo. As the siblings walk their way home with help from a working mother named Mira, Mirai learns to appreciate her family, especially her cheerful brother who saves her quite a few times.

#4 Hiei & Yukina from Yu Yu Hakusho

Hiei was the jackass of the whole series till he decided to rescue Yukina. From that point onwards Hiei rose to become somewhat like a Vegeta of the series. Yukina and Hiei despite being twins are the exact opposite in nature and abilities, and were separated as soon as they were born when the Yuki onna clan exiled Hiei(actually threw him off a cliff as a baby). Despite this they share a special bond so much so that Yukina went out to search for Hiei not knowing his name or appearance while Hiei on the other hand chose to keep his relation to Yukina a secret from her not willing to expose his kind sister to his violent side. Not surprisingly Yukina is one of the few Hiei actually cares about however surprisingly Yukina hates her clan for separating Hiei from her which is unexpected due to her kind nature. Yukina never finds out Hiei's identity but notes that if she found her brother he would be very much like Hiei.

#5 Kohaku & Sango from Inuyasha

Sango is a strong willed demon slayer while Kohaku a gentle and weak hearted newbie. Despite this Sango and Kohaku were very close with Sango encouraging and supporting Kohaku on his first real mission. The mission went to hell with Kohaku ending up as Naraku's puppet killing their father and comrades and their village being destroyed. Sango figures out Kohaku's status and tries to help him and protects him on various occasions. Kohaku's memories return and he frees himself from Naraku's hold. Feeling extreme guilt for his actions Kohaku seeks revenge against Naraku. At the end Kohaku is seen babysitting Sango's children.

#6 Shugo & Rena aka Kite&Black Rose from .hack//Legend of Twilight (Anime)

Distance can't get in the way of love, these two define it in the Anime version. In the Anime their parents are divorced so each twin lives with one parent but they use The World to meet each other and do some fun stuff in the virtual reality. They are really close with Shugo being the typical protective brother and Rena is the same with him. They are willing to take great risks for each other.

#7 17 & 18 aka Lapis & Lazuli from Dragon Ball Z

Whether it's terrorizing the future timeline or just making mischief in the present, these two twins turned cyborgs were always together to the point where they just couldn't be thought of separately. At least till 18 married Krillin and 17 went on to become a ranger. Even then their real names come together to form Lapis Lazuli.

#8 Neji & Hinata from Naruto

After his father, Hizashi's death Neji at first was a jerk with heavy belief in fate being written in stone and hated his uncle Hiashi and cousin Hinata and considers her an outright loser. Despite this Hinata is very cordial and cares for him. This attitude changes after his defeat against Naruto and revelations surrounding Hizashi's death. He later comes to respect and love Hinata like an older brother and acts as a mentor-guardian for her. At the end he even ends up taking a blow for Hinata and Naruto and dying. This is ironic because during their Pre-eliminary round in Chuunin exams Neji nearly killed Hinata. Now that's some character and relationship development.

#9 Ichigo, Yuzu&Karin from Bleach

Ichigo turned into a Soul Reaper to protect his sisters from a Hollow. If that ain't enough he even jumped into hell and nearly destroyed it for the sake of his sisters... Okay that was the movie but in my book it counts. Even before becoming a Soul Reaper Ichigo was very protective of his sisters joining a dojo to learn martial arts to protect them. Other than that they have a positive relationship with Yuzu taking place of their mother and Karin being emo yet sensitive kid.

#10 Temari, Gaara & Kankuro from Naruto

When he first appeared, Gaara was outright psychotic(for extremely good reasons) and his siblings were outright scared of him. Despite this Temari and Kankuro care deeply for Gaara as seen when they protect him when Gaara was down after the fight with Naruto. Gaara mellows down and they become very close as seen when Akatsuki attacked and captured Gaara Kankuro chased the assailants ending up poisoned. Temari rushes back to the village and looks after Kankuro till he recovers.
